The Center For Radiation Oncology (CFRO) was founded in 1993 in Brandon, Florida. In an effort to better serve the needs of the community, CFRO soon opened four other centers. CFRO now operates practices in Brandon, Sun City Center, Tampa, and Zephyrhills.

CFRO offers the latest treatment for all types of cancers, and is using techniques such as Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), high dose radiation (HDR), including MammoSite , 3-D conformal treatment planning, and prostate seed implants. MammoSite decreases the time for radiation to the breast after a lumpectomy from 6 weeks to 5 days.

CFRO is known for its emphasis on patient care as well as the expected technical expertise. Personalized information packets, individualized teaching sessions, and working with all physicians involved with the patient provides the patient with well-coordinated as well as exceptional oncologic care. The practice supports community involvement by sponsoring and providing lectures for many organizations, including Plaza Bella's annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk in Brandon, Harvest Festival/Business Expo in Zephyrhills, and other well-known American Cancer Society projects.
