If We Can't Cure, We Help
The physicians and staff at the Center for Radiation Oncology strive to enhance quality of life for our patients. From the day of initial consultation, the patient becomes a part of the CRO family. We offer the best opportunities for achieving a cure, and if that is not possible we concentrate on ways to alleviate the symptoms that can accompany advanced cancer. We offer palliative care through the use of radiation and also through alternative methods of coping with patients' problems.

We continually refine our relationship with other members of the health care community who may be able to assist our patients through counseling, nutritional information, socioeconomic assistance, and awareness of available local and national support groups. We work with each patient to understand and assess individual needs and address them in the best possible way.

At the Center for Radiation Oncology we believe that our approach of treating patients with compassion, dignity and continuing support, even when cure is no longer an option, is essential to our success as providers of excellent cancer care in our local communities.
