The radiation oncologist is an expert regarding the treatment of cancer with all forms of radiation. As oncologists we are trained to suggest and implement the treatment that most benefits the patient. Our treatment strategy for a particular type of cancer is based on knowledge of the cancer biology and how the cancer spreads in the body.
