The Center for Radiation Oncology at Tampa. The Center for Radiation Oncology physicians began treating patients at this site in January of 1999. The Center is located close to St Joseph’s Hospital as well as Interstates 4 and 275, allowing easy access for patients in the Tampa Bay area. The equipment consists of a Varian 600 C/D with 120-leaf DMLC, which can deliver high resolution IMRT. Additionally, this center contains a Varian 1800 with both high (18X) and low (6X) energy photons as well as electrons.

Courtesy transportation to and from radiation therapy is available for patients who are unable to provide their own transportation.

  • From N. Dale Mabry (by the football stadium), proceed east 1 mile on Martin Luther King Blvd just past St Joseph’s Hospital
  • Turn right onto N. Habana
  • Turn left onto W. Virginia Avenue
  • The second building on the left is the Center for Radiation Oncology
  • Note: The Center for Radiation Oncology and Cancer Care Center operate out of the same building
From east of Tampa
  • Take I-4 west to I-275 north
  • Take first exit on I-275 (Martin Luther King Blvd - exit 46B)
  • Turn left and proceed 2.25 miles west on Martin Luther King Blvd
  • Turn left onto N. Habana
  • Turn left onto W. Virginia Avenue
  • The second building on the left is the Center for Radiation Oncology
