The Center for Radiation Oncology at Sun City Center, which opened in March of 1997, is a free-standing center owned and operated by local area physicians. The Center is located close to South Bay Hospital as well as Interstate 75, allowing easy access for patients in communities both north and south of Sun City Center. The equipment consists of a Varian 2500 with both high (24X) and low (6X) energy photons as well as electrons. It can deliver both intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) as well as more traditional conformal 3D therapy.

Courtesy transportation to and from radiation therapy is available for patients who are unable to provide their own transportation.

• Take Exit 240 northbound or 240A southbound off I-75
• Turn east onto SR 674 (Sun City Center Blvd)
• Turn left onto Cortaro Drive at 2nd light (Taco Bell is on the corner)

• Turn west onto SR 674 (Sun City Center Blvd)
• Proceed west through Sun City Center
