The Center for Radiation Oncology at Brandon, a free-standing Radiation Oncology facility, owned and operated by local area physicians, opened in February 1995 at 717 West Robertson Street, Brandon. This facility provides comprehensive cancer assessment and care, as well as radiation therapy. The state-of-the-art equipment includes a Varian 21EX. This linear accelerator is the ultimate platform for high resolution IMRT, with the tightest specifications and the highest dose delivery rate. Additionally, the Center added today’s most advanced 3-D computed tomography (CT) simulation and geometric planning system in the oncologic marketplace - the Picker ACQSIM - in March of 1999.

Courtesy transportation to and from radiation therapy is available for patients who are unable to provide their own transportation.
